The concept for the “Give To” organization stemmed from a lifelong desire by Kalsoom A. Gill to help those less fortunate than herself. Her dreams of giving back and creating an organization to do so has since been carried on through her son, Raza A. Gill, and made a reality.  
Raza A. Gill is working diligently to create a charity organization that uses his and his mother’s visions to inspire others to give back and to give to. He has a rapidly growing and devoted team that is dedicated to expanding the outreach of The Give To Organization. Innovative and progressive ideas are constantly being developed by our team and need your help to be implemented.

what we Are Doing

The Give To Organization is currently in it's beginning stages and is rapidly growing. Please help join hands and expand the reach of our organization as well as yours and truly make a difference.

 

• We have decided to launch our first program, The GiveTo Arts Initiative, in Orange County, California! We will be holding a major fundraiser, The Annual GiveTo OC Adult 5K/ Youth 5K/ Kids Fun Run on December 8, 2012 to raise awareness and funding to secure a facility for the arts classes to be held and find teachers. • We are planning our first fundraiser the, "Kick Start GiveTo" fundraiser. Our main objective for this fundraiser is to meet face to face with others who want to become involved with our efforts and have a chance to express our mission openly and spread the word. We will have more information on the time and place coming soon! GiveTo Spread The Word.

 

• We are preparing to launch our merchandise store featuring a variety of The GiveTo T-shirts and other great gear to help represent our mission. GiveTo Giveback.

 

• We are currently taking collections for children's books, educational resources, and clothes of all sizes, beginning with Atlanta and New Orleans. We are a currently working on raising funds to purchase collections bins to set up in all of our GiveTo locations to make this a continual project. All items collected will be distributed with YOUR help to those less fortunate. GiveTo Education.

 

• We are collecting hair donations of at least 10 inches or more of untreated healthy hair. We have a mailing address for those nationwide that wish to donate and are connecting with hair salons and hair schools for healthy hair donations. With your monetary contributions and help from generated grants we will be working first hand with wig makers to assure that hair donations are used directly towards the creation of a wig for a patient suffering from hair loss due to medical conditions. We will document the process and include our volunteers in distributing them firsthand to children and adults. GiveTo Boost Self-Esteem. GiveTo Happiness.

 

• We will be offering free music lessons and arts & crafts sessions to help educate children on the importance of arts and provide a healthy pastime to help keep our children off the streets. It is suggested that children's involvement with the arts lead to enhanced self-esteem, better test scores, team working skills, and satisfaction from their accomplishments. • We are working to collect and distribute a new technology of filtered straws. The cutting edge technology provides a straw with a built in filtering system that helps change unsanitary water into clean, drinkable water from any source. We will purchase the straws and donate them to distressed communities with unhealthy water sources. GiveTo Clean Water.

• Here We Come Atlanta

  We are currently working on organizing and setting a date for a second race event to be held in our Atlanta, Georgia location to kick off summer of 2013!!

• The Annual GiveTo OC Adult 5K/ Youth 5K/ Kids Fun Run

  Our first event has been set! We have set the date and booked the facility for our first major fundraising event to support the launch of The GiveTo OC Arts Initiative in Orange County, California. We will be hosting The Annual GiveTo OC Adult 5K/ Youth 5K/ Kids Fun Run on December 8, 2012 at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine, California with all proceeds going to support the launch of this amazing Arts Initiative and the ongoing relief efforts of The GiveTo Organization. • GiveTo give back to OC

  We have been collecting tons of clothes, shoes, books, etc. from our generous supporters in Orange County, California. We are planning to distribute all donations, with the help of volunteers to families and individuals in need around the Orange County area.

• The GiveTo OC Arts Initiative

  We are currently working in Orange County to launch our main program for the spring, The GiveTo OC Arts Initiative. We are diligently working to coordinate the program and are applying for a very generous grant that will hopefully get us the necessary funding.

• The GiveTo Arts Initiative is Under Way

  We are currently collaborating with music professors and art advocates to start our GiveTo Arts Initiative. • New Programs For Summer 2012

  We have just released our new initiatives that will be our main focus for the next upcoming months, located under our "programs" section on our GiveTo homepage. Now we need your help in spreading the word and making these projects a reality. You can help by signing up to volunteer, make a donation, like our Facebook pages or help by telling your friend of an awesome way to GiveTo others!

• Expanding Marketing

  We are currently launching our initial marketing efforts for The GiveTo Organization. Business cards, flyers, and stickers are being mass-produced to be distributed and to help get The GiveTo Organization recognized nationwide. We are revising our Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, Flicker and Google + websites in hopes that social media will help us spread the word and get communities of all ages involved.

  We are working diligently to network with sponsors both large and small to receive further funding to jumpstart our upcoming projects. We are also connecting with grant writers to receive grants from several institutions and local businesses that wish to do their part in helping others. Donations are also being taken and are being prepared to jumpstart our mission.
